Community Economic Summit • Los Angeles 2012

Economic Summit / Exhibitor Fair / Business Mixer Event

The Event.   The Community Economic Summit & Business Mixer includes a moderated panel discussion with community leaders, sponsor presentations and business mixer / exhibitor fair for the community and local businesses to enjoy in-person networking, display information and community resources.

The Idea. The event focuses on community development, revitalization, health, nutrition and physical fitness awareness for youth, adults, overall peace, wellness and well-being throughout the community. The community education and outreach event is open to the public, free to attend and is co-hosted by the Moretta Economic Development Corporation and City Lites, Network, Inc., community based organizations of South Los Angeles, California.

The Community Conversation. The moderated panel discussion with community and civic leaders focus on relevant issues key to economic empowerment, community revitalization and redevelopment - including reflection and historical perspectives, innovative ideas, and workforce development to grow forward in emerging high growth sectors of the Los Angeles economy.
